Getting Ready For Baby

Our little Yoni will very soon not be the baby of the family. Very soon! As in 2 or 3 more weeks.

We have begun to prepare. Yoni moved out of his crib, out of his room, and into the room with Eli and Zach. Eli, a very grown up 5 year old, has decided that climbing up and down the ladder from the top bunk is tiresome, and requested to move to the bottom. And Zach was completely thrilled to move to the "big boy top bed".

Here is Yoni exploring his new big floor-bed. He likes it just fine. And so far he's extremely obedient about staying in bed when it's time. He
did, however, manage to break the guard rail though. We'll see how well he stays in bed when there's no visible boundary...

I am very pregnant, and very uncomfortable. I have found that my lower back feels much, much better when I do some prenatal yoga stretching exercises. I usually try to do it first thing in the morning, before all those noisy little people are awake, but here they joined me for the fun.

Before Bath time, the boys were peering out onto our roof porch...it was a photo waiting to happen! Zach's tushy is extremely delicious.

Happy Summertime!

Summertime Fun

Here's our little Watermelon Boy. This was only the first or second time he'd tasted it. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed it...

By the way, if you haven't yet visited my other blog, please do so. It's www.FamilyNatural.com, and it's the main reason I've been so busy that I haven't been updating as much. Well, that, and the fact that I have 4 little kiddos, and, well, you know.

The most recent post there is about watermelon, so I was reminded to remind you about it.

Whole grain pancake with peanut butter and a raisin face for a snack. Do you think they liked it?
Yep.
Yoni's around all day, so he gets more pictures taken than the others...plus he does these cute things. Like crawling into the kids' dishware drawer.

The 3 older boys got to go to day camp for 3 weeks. It was held next door at the preschool. Here are Eli and Zach on their way the first day. This was Zach's first "school" experience, and he very much felt like a Big Boy. It was good practice for September, when he will go there with Eli every day.
Needless to say, they had a great time. Moshe was the Big Man on Campus as a 6 year old; he will be going to First Grade in the fall.
Shabbat Shalom from our family to yours.

Last Day of Preschool/Kindergarten

The boys had their last day of school the other day. Eli will attend next year and Zach will join him, but Moshe will go to First Grade (here it's called "Kita (class) Aleph (first)" at another school (still to be determined).
Here is Moshe doing the "graduation walk"
This is Moshe with the girl he says he wants to marry. Her name is Mayan. We approve. Of course, her family does not speak English and they know nothing of the idea. I suppose we'll wait a little and see if he still feels the same way in a few years...

There was ice cream!

He can't wait for first grade. He keeps putting his backpack on & pretending to go. He's excited that he will get to learn to read&write in Hebrew.

Proud Papa!
