Zach's world

Well, the potty training has begun.

Everyone pitches in for a reading session.

Is he really proud, or just happy about the balloon?

Yoni Smiles

Our little Yoni is 7 weeks old! He's a very good baby, and has recently begun to sleep a little longer at night (YAY!) He has also begun to smile ever so often, and I managed to capture it.

Passover Fun

Sorry, no new pictures yet. But check out this funny video instead.

Our seder was small, but nice. Only us, here at home. Moshe impressed us greatly when he read the Four Questions (in English). He had practiced the Hebrew some, and sang along with us, but he chose to read the English by choice. He had never read those words; he had only been told by me what the meaning was. He's not yet five!

Zach began potty training, now that he's a big two year old. It's going ok so far...but I cringe at the idea of THREE young boys aiming at the toilets around here!

Haircut time

Happy Passover

Last week we all went on a hike together; even Yoni came along for the ride.

It is so nice to have spring weather, after a long, unusual cold front.

And Zach, our littlest big brother, got a long-awaited haircut, proving once again how very handsome he is.

movin' on up

Yoni is one month old! This is the most recent picture of him that we have; I'll try to get some more soon when he is awake. I don't really know how much he's changed, but he is getting some cute chubby cheeks.

Zach (now 2) is a very good big brother, always wanting to give Yoni hugs and kisses. As a Big Boy, he has graduated from his high chair to a booster seat at the big table, and has moved into the bigger brothers' room, giving Yoni his own room.

my first cheesecake

We had a lot of cream cheese left over from the brit, so I decided I would try making a cheesecake. I wanted an oreo one, so I looked online, found a recipe, and went at it. It was trickier than I expected, probably because the consistency is much more watery than the packaged cream cheese in the States. So, it baked. And baked. And would not cook in the middle. Finally, I used a baster to suck out from the middle, and then cooked it more, and it didn't look too pretty, but it tasted DELICIOUS!
Here are pictures of the guys hiking near our house last week. More pictures to follow...

The big guys went for a hike in the national forest 2 minutes from our house.

Yoni 10 days

Well, Yoni is 4 weeks old today. I can't believe it! And, I've obviously been a little busy these past couple of weeks, so all I can give you is these already outdated pictures.

We are all doing well. Spring has sprung here in Israel, and Chaim and the boys have been going out on some hikes in the woods. I'll get some pictures of that out soon.

Shabbat Shalom!
