Ok, I made a mistake. I think I was premature to suggest that you all consider Facebook AND Twitter. Forget Twitter. It's pretty complicated, and does not seem to be worthwile for "regular" folks. It's more for those trying to guide the masses to their website or something. It's also great for passing current events faster than anything else can. But that's not what we need for staying in touch.
I still think that Facebook can be good for all of us. And another thing I want to start using is Skype. Skype allows you to instant message or actually talk with or without video, live. It's nice because if you have it open on your computer, it will notify you if any of your contacts are online at the same time. Then you may choose to say "hi" or call, if you want to. It's better than the phone in that you already know if the person is there. I have added it, and am hoping to add contacts (like you). Just go to skype.com and sign up.
Either way, please, let's be in touch. Email me at kimberleiba@aol.com and we can set up a chat date, or I can help you sign up for Facebook or Skype.
Hope to hear from you soon!
